Welcome to Tonmoyee. Every Tonmoyee piece is handcrafted in our atelier in Bangladesh. We believe in mindful, sustainable production — we do not mass-produce or hold large volumes of inventory. This means some pieces are ready to ship, while most are lovingly made to order just for you. Please read this Shipping Policy carefully so you know exactly what to expect.

1. Where We Ship From

All orders are dispatched from our production atelier in Dhaka, Bangladesh, where each garment is crafted and quality-checked by hand before shipment.

2. Shipping Destinations

We currently ship to addresses within the United States and to selected international destinations. If your country is not available at checkout, please contact us and we will do our best to assist you.

3. Order Processing Times

Ready-to-Ship Items

In-stock, ready-to-ship items are processed and dispatched within 2–6 business days after successful payment confirmation.

Made-to-Order Items

Most of our pieces are made to order. Made-to-order items require a minimum of 2 weeks (14 days) of crafting time before dispatch. Depending on the complexity of the design, embroidery, and handwork involved, crafting may take longer. An estimated timeline is indicated on each product page, and our team will keep you informed of your order's progress.

Please note: as a sustainable, small-batch label, we craft each made-to-order piece individually. We appreciate your patience — beautiful things take time.

Peak Periods

During sales, holidays, festive seasons, or promotional periods, processing and crafting times may be slightly longer than stated above.

4. Delivery Times

Once dispatched, orders are shipped via trusted international courier partners. Estimated transit times after dispatch are:

•       United States: approximately 5–10 business days.

•       Other international destinations: approximately 7–14 business days, depending on the destination, customs clearance, and local courier services.

Estimated delivery times are provided for convenience only and are not guaranteed. Total time to receive your order = processing/crafting time + transit time.

5. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are calculated based on the destination, package weight, and shipping method selected, and will be displayed at checkout before payment. Any free-shipping promotions will be clearly indicated on the website.

6. Customs, Duties & Import Taxes

Because orders ship internationally from Bangladesh, shipments may be subject to customs duties, tariffs, import taxes, or brokerage fees imposed by the destination country, including the United States. Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, these charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the product price or shipping fee paid to Tonmoyee. Customs policies vary by country; please contact your local customs office for further information. Tonmoyee has no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount.

7. Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number so you can monitor your shipment's progress. Please allow 24–48 hours for tracking information to become active.

8. Shipping Address

Please ensure that the shipping address and contact information provided during checkout are complete and accurate. Tonmoyee is not responsible for delivery delays, failed deliveries, returned parcels, or additional charges resulting from incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer. If you notice an error in your address, contact us immediately — we can usually correct it if the order has not yet been dispatched.

9. Shipping Restrictions

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order due to circumstances including, but not limited to:

•       Delivery restrictions in certain locations.

•       Product unavailability.

•       Incorrect pricing or technical errors.

•       Suspected fraudulent or unauthorized transactions.

•       Compliance with applicable laws, export controls, and regulations.

10. Delayed or Lost Shipments

While we strive to ensure timely delivery, unforeseen circumstances such as severe weather, customs delays, public holidays, transportation disruptions, or courier-related issues may occasionally affect delivery times. Such delays are beyond our reasonable control and shall not entitle the customer to compensation or damages.

If your order is significantly delayed or appears to be lost in transit, please contact us and we will work with the courier to locate your shipment and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

11. Risk of Loss

Risk of loss and title for products pass to the customer upon successful delivery to the designated shipping address.
